Aloha everyone! Thursday is our long paddle to Dana Point from Newport Beach. It's so exciting to be able to combine the adult and youth teams into one group. Please plan on being at the Coast Guard Station in Newport Beach between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM. Pack very light - a small snack, water/energy drink, a towel and a change of clothes in the smallest bag you have. We will be in Dana Point at around noon and lunch will be provided. For those using Access services, please schedule your pickup between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM depending on how long you'd like to hang out.
The address for both the start and end of the day are as follows:
Start - Coast Guard Station - 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM

End - Dana Point Youth & Group Facility

NAC/Makapo will put 2 crews on the water this Saturday, August 7, 2010 in Dana Point. This will be the first time we try a semi-dry paddler change with our teams.

August 7th - We will be racing in Dana Point, paddlers will need to arrive in Dana Point by 7 am and will be done racing a ready for rides home around Noon. Paddlers needing rides live in Fullerton, Anaheim Hills.
August 21 , 28 and September 4th - From Fullerton to Newport Beach - round trip. Arrive Newport 8:30 am - Leave Newport for Fullerton 11:30 am.
Saturday September 11th - from Fullerton and Anaheim Hills to Newport Beach Arrive Newport 6:30 am. Return to Fullerton approximately 9:30 pm.
Your kokua (help) is greatly appreciated. |
